Title: Immigration Attorney

 

Job Duties: 

• Represent clients in front of USCIS or AAO in employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant petitions and applications. • Review and revise cover letter, petition letter and immigration forms prepared by law clerk/paralegal, develop strategies for complex matters. • Consult clients with the most suitable immigration pathways. • Manage various projects and deadlines, coordinate with partners or senior attorneys. • Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration laws and policies. • Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other parties involved in immigration cases. • Provide training to client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and updates about new immigration laws and regulations. • Participate in business development efforts, client relation management, and networking activities

Requirement: J.D. degree, with at least 12 months of work experience at same or related role, e.g. law clerk or paralegal, in boutique immigration law firms. Experience includes drafting petition letters and forms for H-1B, L-1, O-1&EB-1A, and preparing labor certificate (Form 9089) . Bar admission in any jurisdiction is required.

Salary: $93,662 per year
